Born out of a love for the ACT's mountains, wild places and fantastic nature, this map has been meticulously hand drawn over 60 hours. It has been an absolute pleasure to create and is a unique celebration of this special corner of Australia.
These beautifully made prints are perfect for those who want a great art piece to celebrate the ACT, either for their own homes or as a gift for someone special. Please read the artist note below for the details of this particular map.

A NOTE FROM THE ARTIST OF THE ACT MAP
There was an immense amount of community input for this map and it's been great to be able to add in many local favourites; this really is a map for Canberrans! You’ll find places like Black Mountain, Westermans Hut, Booroomba Rocks, Gibraltar and Ginini Falls, Stromlo Forest, One Tree Hill and many other local haunts scattered across it.
Due to the mountainous nature of the Namadgi Wilderness and Brindabellas, there are a large amount of named peaks and ranges on the map. These include Bimberi Peak, Mount Namadgi, Mount Kelly, Yankee Hat, Sentry Box, Shanahans Mountain, Mount Gingera, Mount Ginini, Mount Franklin and many others. One of my favouriate aspects of the map is the iconic huts that are dotted throughout, including Westermans, Waterhole, Brayshaws, Hospital Creek, Gudgenby Homestead and Cotter Hut to name just a few.
Many of Canberra's main nature features and suburbs have been drawn in, including Capital Hill, Stromlo Forest, the main town centres and a large number of other suburbs. The city's iconic mountains such as Black Mountain, Mount Ainsley, Mount Majura, Mount Stromlo and the Pinnacle are all included, as is the One Tree Hill area.
It all combines to make for a well balanced and diverse map that showcases the spectacular wilderness and townships of the ACT. It was an absolute pleasure to draw!
